J’ai donc commandé à Mamie “Noel” (la vraie, celle qui existe, la mienne) une machine à coudre. Pour mon plus grand bonheur, j’ai hérité d’une de ses anciennes machines SINGER (oui M’dame j’ai une mamie en or) qui après une petite visite chez le réparateur et beaucoup d’amour de mamie) a retrouvé sa belle jeunesse.
Et c’est ainsi pimpante et pleine de couleurs inspirantes qu’elle a attéri sous le sapin puis sur le bureau de mon petit atelier.
Maintenant, il fallait s’y mettre. Pour de vrai. Coudre à côté de maman, en la regardant faire et en prenant à coeur les seules (mais non inutiles) missions de l’enfilage de l’aiguille et de la découpe du patron, ça je savais faire. Mais mettre en marche cette pimpante Damoiselle toute seule, c’était tout un nouveau monde pour moi. Un univers à découvrir.
